Okay, so I'm not officially back. We were given a pass this weekend so we headed home. YAY!!! My bed!!! Things are going very well up there. We've ruck-marched fifteen miles and land-navved hundreds more I'm sure. Took the written test yesterday and only had about thirteen fail out of ninety-something. Pretty good. This week starts the practical exams and then the final event, the twelve-mile road march. I've done plenty of road marches before so normally I wouldn't be worried. But this is the most unforgiving stretch of earth I've ever seen. There's not a flat surface to be seen anywhere. It's nothing but hills, and they all seem to go up. So I'm gonna go look for some new boots today, the new fancy style that feel more like a running shoe than a combat boot. That should help some, the ones I've been wearing are tearing my feet up. Talk to you kids soon.

yes, you missed fun with guns.
thats what you get for deciding to train with the army, you miss out on fun. sucker.
juuuust kidding, hope everythings going well and ill be seeing your ass when youre done training!!! celebration beer!
