endlessly

Anyway, so yeah. Went to Louisville today to complete the whole long process and basically got screwed. Because I'm prior service I have the option to drive myself to my new duty station. I took that option, it wasn't a hard decision - to have car or not have car, hmmmmm?????? Well, apparently being prior service and driving myself puts me into a special category or something and my paperwork needed to be submitted by 1100 today. Well, I arrived at MEPS at 0530 just like everybody else, went the med inspect, and then sat and waited outside the liason's office from 0730 to around 1120 until anyone even said anything to me. That's when the 1SG came up and said we needed to try and get my paperwork submitted ASAP cuz we had already missed the cutoff time but he was going to try and push it through anyway. Long story short I basically wasted the last eighteen hours cuz the paperwork got kicked back and now I have to go back on Monday. Joy.

So my report date is all screwed up, I have no orders officially yet, and basically I'm very tired and irritated right now. So I'm a go take a nap. See ya.
