Well its been a while since I've posted on here so I guess I'll fill in all the blanks.
Tuesday was pretty insignificant, worked the second half of my day and didn't really do much in the first half lol.
Wednesday was huge.
I was having a pretty rough first half of the day, to put it simple. Me and my first ex girlfriend got back in contact a couple weeks ago, and we're cool friends now. But she's happily taken, so it's a friendship and nothing more. I don't want to jeopardize what she has going just for a chance at something more with me. She's happy. And honestly, I'm just happy I'm back in contact with her. It was really odd though because Tuesday night we were making plans to hang out Wednesday and she had asked me if I wanted to come over before our lunch date and nap with her. Which, turned out to be me and her sleeping in the same bed but fully clothed and at opposite sides.
Awwwkwardddd.
After an hour or two nap, we both got up and went out to Buffalo Wild Wings. I loveee their Parmesan Garlic Chicken Flatbread. Spicy garlic parmesan goodness. We talked a whole bunch, and headed back to my place where I we actually talked about Suicide Girls and how she was originally looking into it but she's not comfortable with full naked pictures and whatnot of herself. Hung out a bit, and then I dropped her back off at her place, and we went seperate ways.
That in itself, wasn't really the reason the first half was bad, except it really brought me down a few levels knowing that even though I'm still attracted to her, it doesn't go both ways. And even if it did, I don't want to be that guy who takes people away from other people. So, I was bummed.
After a couple hours of working on a project for Applebees, I decided I needed to drop some cash and take some much needed Me Time. What better place than the strip club? I haven't been in years, and even though it's kinda a waste of cash, it was something to do, and somewhere to get away. Was walking in there with some decent cash but I wasn't gonna spend it unless someone really caught my attention.
The usual, strippers quickly approaching me asking if I wanted a dance, and I told'em all I just got there and I was seeing what there is to choose from and I wanted to see everyone on stage before I made up my mind on who, if anyone, was going to get some money. So after like five different girls dancing on stage and a couple of the strippers who originally got turned down avoiding me, this girl plops in the chair next to me, puts out her hand, introduces herself, and asks me who I was. Finally, someone treating me like a human rather than a wallet.
(I know it's a strip club. Who walks into a strip club wanting an intellectual stripper? I get that. But I was having a rough time, and just wanted someone to talk to. And really, it's either get a psychiatrist or a therapist, get some real friends, or go to a strip club where girls are motivated by their job to break the ice for money.)
Anyways. So we talked for a few minutes, and she finally asked me what I was there for. Simple question. I wanted to get out, see what the club had to offer, and if someone got my attention, they'd get some money. So, she told me that she was up next for the stage and suggested I see what she can do. Sounds good to me. Not only was she amazingly cute, but she was great at what she did. And not just doing her job either. She had fun. So, after she gets off the stage, she comes and sits down next to me, and asks, "So. Whatcha think?"
I laughed, looked at her, and told her that she was on the right track so far. She laughed and said she felt like she was on some type of game show. The blue light started to go off, which means some kinda dance special and that all the strippers would be out trying to get some business, so she had to leave for a bit to try and get someone to buy a dance. Told her that's cool, and that I'd be here. So she goes around asking people for dances, and eventually comes and sits back down next to me and tells me that she was really trying to get this guy in front of me to get a dance, because he had never been to a strip club before.
I remember those days. (I used to be a regular at this club like, 2-3 years ago back when I had good guy friends. It was a blast.) His friend had just gotten up to get a dance, and he was by himself. I looked at her, looked at him, handed her a $20 and told her to have at it. She took a double take and was like, "Really?" Yeah, I like ya, you're cool, you're not just after the money, and you're sexy as hell. Show him how a lap dance is supposed to be. So, she thanks me, and grabs him, and walks off to the booths.
Waste of my money? At that second, it sure seemed like it. After a song though, he comes back, thanks me again, and she comes back, sits next to me, looks at me, and says "You know, you're an odd one. You don't run into guys like you who would do that kinda thing for someone you don't know. I like that." (or something along those lines) At which point I explained to her that I'm not actually fond of lap dances and whatnot because you're paying to get teased. Honestly, I'd rather just pay someone to sit there and talk to me and treat me like a person, because it just seems so hard to find people who would do that. Sit there, talk, and be real.
So, we shot the breeze for a while. She'd go off and dance on stage, walk around for the blue light special, but she would always come right back. It was really cool. She'd go off on tangents about some of the guys she'd run into working there, and I work at Applebees so I deal with people too so we shot the breeze about our stories.
I think about 2-3 hours went by of us just talking like we were good friends. She even told me about how she had actually been having a rough time lately too. Even made a comment about how maybe we were supposed to run into each other that night, get all of that stress off our shoulders and walk away happy. That, was probably the highlight of my night. At that point, I asked her how she made the most money at the club. I knew they split what they made from dances, but I wasn't sure if they had to split tips. She told me she didn't have to split tips, so I tipped her a good $40 just for keeping me company, got some dances from her so I could see what a lap dance from her was like, it was great.
By about 12:45 she said she was cooking, so she took a break outside for a bit, came back, and started complaining her back hurt. (I swear a light bulb exploded over my head when she told me that.) So, I told her to turn around, she did, and I gave her a good 5-10 minute back massage. By the end she was practically laying on me. It was cute. She thanked me, and gave me a big hug. I had to work in the morning sadly and I couldn't stay there all night. As far as I know, Deja Vu has some pretty strong rules about being in contact with people you meet from the club, and people you know outside of the club being inside the club, so I told her that she doesn't have to disclose me any information right now. But that I'd be back up here again to see her and maybe after some time things could go elsewhere outside the club. She was cool with that, told me she works every Wednesday night, so I plan on seeing her again this next Wednesday. After that, another hug, and we went separate directions.
It was an amazing night. All that stress was off my shoulders, and I felt renewed. On top of that, whether me and her ever go anywhere, I at least know there are some good people out there. Even if they are in some of the most not good places.
On a side note, I feel like I just wrote a book. But, to be honest, that was all hanging on my chest because I really haven't told anyone. If me and her do go anywhere, I don't want anyone knowing how I met her. I wouldn't want anyone to look at her weird for being a stripper. It's a job.
So that was Wednesday. Thursday and Today, I worked all day, so there's really not much to say besides My Legs Hurt from running around so much.
To anyone and everyone who actually take the time to read this, you're awesome.
