Wow, I hate how busy it is after a long weekend.

Anyways, I finally got around to creating an album with pics of me. If anyone is interested take a look. They are mostly from the past 5 years. I don't have any recent photos but will get some soon.

(I love Renfaires)

Yeah, it is really kinda hard to watch. Kinda a mental downer, my wife couldn't handle it and went to bed about half way through, but I toughed it out till the end. Don't know if you have Netfilx but that's where I watched it.

Valentines was awesome! Definitely did not follow my high protein diet though! I had mimosa's and buttermilk biscuits for breakfast. A couple Irish car bombs for lunch and topped it off with chocolate covered strawberries for dinner. Was a damned good day. biggrin

It sounds as if it were a damn fine day indeed. I'm glad y'all enjoyed.

Thanks for the info. I'm still more of the "food, yum, eat it" type mode, but still . . . knowing is always good.

What day is it? That is how my week has gone so far. Not in a bad way, it's just that I have been a bit spaced out. May be due to the antihistamine I have been taking. Maybe a few shots would help. Anyways. Don't have much to say just wanted to post a new blog.
stcyr:
A few shots can't hurt [depending on the amount of antihistamine]. Shit, I'm almost looking forward to allergy season . . . that's how tired I am of being cold. frown

Oh, & I knew you'd be a door #1 type girl smile
steveh56:
It's always good to hear from you even if it's just a little.

Woohoo I have tomorrow off! No work for this girl. Well not my usual work. Instead I am going to get a few things done around the house then spend some time at my man's business. I told him I wanted to bake him something and he requested Irish soda bread. I just got back form the store with all the goodies. So, tomorrows lunch,...

A woman I work with was passing around a fund raiser for her child's school and I have a soft spot for helping the little one's sell stuff. So I ordered a few magazines. One for my husband, a men's fitness magazine. Thinking of course that we just started lifting weights together and maybe this magazine would have better and/or different info than my fitness...

Actually I was thinking a full massage on Monday. Been while since I have had one. Not as wiped out today as last night but my feet are what is kiling me. If I can ever get this extra 100 lbs off it will help more than anything. Have a great weekend.

Well I have been so excited about my new tattoo that I have been showing it to everyone. biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Including people at work. Which may not always be the best thing to do now that I think of it. Apparently most people at work see me as this sweet, young, conservative, innocent girl who would never do something like get a Tattoo. LMFAO! I got quite...

Its funny how often Ive had this conversation recently {Im going to reproduce a lot of the following, because (a) its late (b) Im lazy, and (c) its still true}: Of course, it depends on the locality, but I think tattoos are becoming. . . not only more prevalent . . . but acceptable today. Take sports, or Hollywood for examples. Not too long ago guys like Kyle Turley and Allen Iverson were unique because of their tattoos. Today, theyd be hard to identify on the field or court simply by their ink. Likewise, I dont think Angelina Jolie or Megan Fox are missing out on roles because of theirs. The public is simply inured to tattoos now. That doesnt necessarily mean that there isnt a degree of judgment.

At their core, I believe tattoos are an expression of free speech and individualism. However, like all speech, the content of what one says and portrays are still valid points for judging the character of the actor. The simple fact that someone has a tattoo (or many) I dont believe is all that relevant in current American society. However, what and where someone is tattooed may generate some value judgments. While one is certainly free to have neo-Nazi slogans and images tattooed on their neck, hands or face, I (and I think most people) would appropriately judge them a racist neanderthal, and either give them a very wide berth - or kick their ass.

Personally, Ive never had much of an issue. There is nine-to-five, professional suit me; and there is weekend me. [The sad part is the older I get, the harder it is for me to discern which one is the real me - but, in truth, they both are.] Sure, Ive gotten the odd look from Judges or other attorneys when theyve run into me at the Farmers market or on the street, but few have ever confronted me about the issue, and when the conversation does arise, I simply explain that I wasnt always a lawyer and/or that weve all got to have some hobby. In any event, Im not concerned about it. I know that my behavior and ability as an attorney matter more to these people and my clients than what I look like under the suit. (But I still wont be getting my knuckles or neck tattooed anytime soon wink ).

Well I am just full of love. Or at least I noticed that I I have been saying I love things a lot lately. Anyone asking my opinion gets the the response, I love it! So lame, I know, LOL. I think I need to work on my vocabulary a little and start using some of those other great descriptive words like marvelous, spectacular, outstanding,...

So many superlatives, so little time - - but, being full of love is never a bad thing. Have fun tomorrow. I know how long you've waited. Anticipation sometimes does make somethings sweeter.

Oh, & I like your dog choices - - I hope you can have all three some day soon.
