What an amazing weekend!
First I would just like to do a little victory dance!
I found out Friday that my baby sister, well she is not a baby but she is the youngest of 5 and will always be my baby sister, broke up with her boyfriend!!!!
I am not usually one to place judgement especially on other peoples relationships but my sister means a lot to me and her ex boyfriend just wasn't good enough for her. Okay, I'm being way too nice. He was/is a immature, manipulative, scum bag, sexist, controlling, verbally abusive piece of hot steaming smelly shit. I do feel for her though, I know it was hard for her to brake up with him, apparently he had some qualities she liked (though for the life of me I don't know what). But, she will get over him and is already saying how much of a good thing it was that she broke up with him.

Then, I spent all day Saturday with both my younger sisters. Funny thing is until we were all in the car together we had not realized that we have never done something, anything together, just the three of us. It was quite a bonding experience. The occasion was that my baby sister has a new Job as a pole dance fitness instructor at a brand new Pole Dancing Fitness studio. Saturday was the grand opening with refreshments and demonstrations. No, she is not a stripper for all you dirty minds out there. And yes there is actually a good reason for them wearing very few clothing while on the pole. You see, they stay on the pole with skin friction. If the women wore pants and long sleeve shirts they would slip right off the pole onto their asses. I also had no Idea how much they could do on that bar. These women are quite the acrobats. Nothing like what I have seen on television which is mostly women rubbing their kooches on a bar.
I knew my sister was into pole dancing, excited to be teaching it and that I would support her in anything she choose to do in life. I had never seen her dance before. She was absolutely jaw dropping, I was speechless. It was so good to see her up there dancing with no care in the world, at complete peace, beautiful, moving with such grace and with more passion than I have ever seen anyone express while performing any kind of dance. And she was really good, I mean she new how to move and do each technique well. I spent her entire routine in true amazement. I also was able to observe how well she taught a few moves to an interested girl. I have to admit that for the first time in nearly a year now since all us siblings decide to cut our parents out of our lives for good I was truly fighting back massive tears of joy. My sister finally found her passion in life. Something that she not only loves but is good at, can also make a carer out of teaching and it is good for her physically. She is turning into an amazing woman, I am so proud of her and want everyone to know it. Just writing this brings tears to my eyes.

I've seen real pole dancing competitions before ... some serious athletic skills on display.
