I just found out a few minutes ago that an old friend and fellow black belt got married. So happy for her.

I just finished recording all the episodes of Shimmy (a belly dance show on Fit TV). I am so excited to start learning. I have been interested in belly dancing for many years and have a friend that is quite good at it. But I never had the money or time for lessons. But, thanks to my DVR , which I love, I now have the whole series and can do it when ever I get a chance. Bonus, it's exercise. . Then later if I stick with it I can justify the expense and find time for real lessons. Plus I think it will compliment my martial arts training nicely being that it will help with joint mobility. I see belly dancing as being soft and Martial Arts as being hard, a good sense of duality which I like.

I need to go to the store and buy more rope. My cat totally stole mine. I can't practice my knots unless I lock her out of the house and I just don't have the heart to do that. So, when I get more rope she can have hers, I can have mine and I can start learning more knots.
