Today was a day of random thoughts.
I don't like spiders. Not scared to death of them or anything like that. I just think they need to all die. Or at least ones in my house should die, the rest can live.
Cartoons. My favorite childhood cartoons were Rainbow Bright and GI Joe. Current favorite cartoon is Samurai Jack.
There is so much shit going on right now so I am trying to focus on the good stuff.
It makes me really happy to see my husband out playing music again. Music is such a big part of who he is. It just doesn't seem right when he's not out making music. He is a bass player and has not done much in the way of gigs for almost two years now. Well, he's played a few gigs but nothing major. He recently hooked back up with a fellow musician/friend and they already have 3 gigs set for later this month and 1 next month. I am so stoked! I love watching him play and get into a groove. No stress, no worries, just 100% joy. The way it should be.
I started rereading this book called Complete Conditioning for Martial Arts. I bought this book several years ago, found it on my bookshelf and I remembered it being a good book. So I thought I should reread it since I am really dedicated to getting back into shape and training again. I find it hard to believe I have actually read this book before. I apparently did not retain much the first time I read it. There is actually a lot of good basic fitness information in it. The timing must not have been right the first time around. Or maybe I don't remember because I didn't actually use what I learned. Anyways, I am very glad I picked it up again.

I don't mind spiders. I actually kind of like 'em. These little bastards however . . .
House centipedes, ugh
I freaking HATE these things. Apparently they also eat other bugs, and spiders, so ... I guess you could cultivate them to take care of your spiders for you, but I'd prefer the spiders.
Glad to hear that things sound like they're going well. Have a great weekend.
