So it's already been 3 years since I moved to LA...
I still remember day 1 on my cousin's car, driving to Westchester from sunny San Diego, my heart up beat and excited for a new adventure, but simultaneously freaking about what may go down in the city of Angels. Moving from Japan to the US a month prior to that date was already overly exciting, and scary to say the least.
It's been an unbelievably quick 3 years, and hopefully some more to come. I've made great friends, lost several, fell out of love and threw myself right back into love, and experienced so many things I wouldn't have if I decided to listen to my mum's pleads of staying in the little sea-side town I was born in and spent my entire 18 years in. I would've probably been a better daughter, but definitely an unhappier person. And I couldn't let that happen.
When I think about it all, and as corny and ridiculous as this sounds, life has been a true adventure. All those moments I've travelled metaphorically, and ventured out literally to different worlds, different cultures... Those moments, no matter how long or short they were, are going to be an everlasting memory for me.
...Now, time for me to shut up and finish packing.
