I have three sweaters on, a scarf, and slipper socks, yet I am still cold. I hate Ohio. I haven't updated in quite a while...John is home and feeling much better. There has been a lot of drama at work, cuz the new girl, although having been hired for a month now, has only actually showed up 8 times. She only works 3 days a week, but yet she's already called off 2 weeks because she was "sick." Yet the 1st time she was sick she came to work to get food and heppened to have her hair and makeup all done up...yeah. So her mom calls on Monday to say that she is sick again, and can't come to work this week. They are then leaving for a 2 week vacation on Staurday. So my boss tries to tell her that she has missed too many days already, so she doesn't want her working there anymore. Then her mom starts crying saying we are so unfair, and then actually comes into the restaraunt and completely bitches my boss out for a straight half-hour, making her feel guilty, so now the girl is given a second chance. It fucking sucks cuz that means i have to work the 2 weeks shes gone, and who knows how many times after that. That means double shifts for the rest of John's break. I've never been selfish at this job; I always work whenever someone can't make it and do them favors w/out complaint. But this is just unfair. It's obvious that this girl doesn't take her work seriously, or anything else for that matter, and the longer she stays the more I'm going to be inconvenienced. I'm tired of being the bitch there....I haven't gone 2 weeks in the past year w/out having to work doubles. Gar.
Anyway, I saw The Return of the King last night. I won't give anything away, but I will say that I was a little dissapointed. Some of it got too carried away w/ the suspense and drama, and the ending was waaaaaaaaay too drawn out. But the battle scenes were fucking fantastic. I haven't seen anything else like it. It was just so fucking massive. So yeah, good movie, but not my favortie of the trilogy. Once it comes out on dvd, my brother and I are going to have a LOTR marathon and spend a whole day nerding out to all 3. it will be sweeeet So uh....who else thinks Christmas is too commercial? I haven't talked to one person who actually likes Christmas this year. I think we should exchange hugs and warm words and kisses, but instead we spend hundreds on gifts, cuz capitalism says so. Well I don't have much else to say...so bye.
