when i was a little thing i had black curly hair.
i got about 13 and started to fight it. we didn't have good flatirons back then so i suffered with my shitty one and my hair ended up as a horrendous poofball white girl fro [translate: unattractive]

one day when i was 16 i was meeting my boyfriend and i didn't have time to do my hair (which had grown way past my shoulders) so i just hopped out of the shower and left. by the time i got to his house it had dried and when i got out of the car he was like "whoa shakira!"
i figured that couldn't be to bad and i grew to love my long curly hair.

welllll years passed and at about 19 i decided it was straight time again. all my friends had straight hair. boy hair. what i now call disgusting "scene hair" (why an otherwise hot girl would want a ridiculous mannish ugger haircut is beyond me but whatever). i was guilty but then i GREW THE EFF UP and realized my real hair was the hottest shit on the planet when yesterday i picked up this fall from the hair store that looked exactly like my hair.
