I've been planning a trip around Europe in a camper van for the last six months. The plan was always to have classic VW camper. After discussing finances with Charlotte, we decided that since we're still skint we should look for cheaper alternatives.
Today I was checking Autotrader for other types of van that might be suitable and discovered...
MINIBUSES!!
They are amazingly cheap and always have low milage. I guess there isn't much demand for them. Some even come with an electric lift for people in wheelchairs which sounds like great fun, I'd just use it as the main door to create a dramatic entrance at the shops.
Anyway, i think one of these would make a superb Campervan substitute once I remove all the seats and give it a paint job.
All I need to do now is convince Charlotte.
