I am stuck in Tucson with no work to do and my mountain bike...hmmmm. The sun is out today and it's about 70. Just got in from a ride and a hot tub. Meanwhile back in Denver there's at least 3 feet of snow in town, 7 feet (!!!!!!) in places like Central City. We may never see those cheesey casino towns ever again!!! Y'know how those avalanches wipe out villages in the Alps and Himalaya? Supposedly there is 51 inches on the ground in Boulder...glad I don't have to shovel that shit! Even the Avs/Sharks game was ppd until tomorrow. Anyway - my office hates me 'cause they're there and I'm here ('til Friday). Sucks to be me!!!!!

Hope Sandoval is good stuff, if you are looking for female vocalists, I love Dot Allison and also Lucinda Williams. For gorgeous female vocals, I'd go for Bebel Gilberto if you are into trying worldly music, she is Brazillian. and Nina Simone if you want to travel a bit back in time and more jazzy.
