Okay - it's not winter anymore. Since Friday it's been beautiful here. Where else can you go snowboarding one day and rock climbing the next? Okay, Tahoe would be one I suppose. 
I saw the Briefs twice this weekend - they are so much fun live! They gave me a copy of their new record which I took the photos for. AND they paid me. Not the first band to use my pix, but the first to compensate me for it.
They even made tee shirts with my photos on them.
Now in hockey related news:
The Avs could trade the entire 3rd line for all I care...just don't fuck with the first or Sakic.
Apparently Marchment can throw...we'll see if he can hit without getting suspended. I don't expect him to play more than 15 min...which leaves Skoula with 3-5.
Watching Pulp Fiction tonight (I never saw the whole thing...).
Griese to Chicago? Could work, 'specially since Beuerlein is gonna' be Plummer's backup this year. If you had told me that line 2 years ago I would have wet myself laughing. 'Guess there's not that many good QBs in the league anymore. Farve, Garcia, Bledsoe, Grbac, then who? Brady?

i was kind of surprised to see hrdina go to phoenix. i thought for sure washington was going to deal for him, since jagr runs that team. i was also surprised that niemenen didn't get dealt. he has one of the worst +/- on the team, and he looks pretty slow at times.. not to mention he was a healthy scratch a few times last week.
kind of a weak showing for the avs... but they're already stacked anyway. battaglia was real solid last year.. looks like a pretty good deal.
