I really enjoy seeing my family on the holidays. Today was a lot of fun. It was a bit odd that both my little brother and sister brought significant others to the festivities. I kinda felt like a dweeb. Whatever- at least they're both extremely cool people. I ate a bunch of great food and feel like the fat bastard that I am about now.
Last night was fun as hell also. WelnTaod and I ventured up to Hartford to catch the Queens of the Stone Age show. We arrived just in time to miss the opening bands and, after waiting in a Yankee Stadium at 7th inning streach sized line for the bathroom, found a spot in the bar area and proceded to have a few beers and rock out. They sounded tight and covered zz top. Nothing wrong with that. We were also able to catch the tail end of a lovely gathering at the new abode of the grey as hell AmazonRed13.
All in all a very good weekend. Had a lot of fun and acomplished almodt nothing. This was even more enjoyable as it was my 1st day off in 3 weeks.
I REALLY don't want to work tommorow. I have so much to take care of and my mind will not be in the game as my father is having surgery. It's fairly routine from what I understand, a partial knee replacement, but I'm still concerned. After work I have a meeting for job #3 and then hope to swing by the hospital with my brother and visit the old man. I'm guessing that we'll hang with him for a while then grab some dinner and many drinks. I will, however, be missing the Rollins show. Oh well.

Way to be a chump and not go to the SGNY function. If there was an SGCT thing and I had someone to head up there with I would totally go.
