so i've been having some computer issues lately. for instance, i'd have to start firefox 3 or 4 times before it would stop performing illegal operations and stay. so i imposed on welntaod to give me a hand reformating the old hard drive and reloading everything. long story short, my 40 gig hard drive now sits on a table and i'm here thanks to a 6 gig and some late night parts robbing. on the plus side, we hung out and had some great pizza and many beers and were joined late night by chiquitabonita, who rocks. so that was saturday night.

today i had the extreme displeasure of installing some recessed lights in my parent's house. their house is essentially a series of additions where every wall at one time or another was an exterior wall. it went from a one room lakeside cabin to a 3 bedroom house one room at a time. so getting inside the walls is a bit complicated. the worst part being that after spending 6 hours getting a 2 hour project finished, i had gotten the wrong lamps. so it works only in theory. i was rewarded with a lovely corned beef and cabbage and potato and carrots dinner, though. so it wasn't a total loss.

this evening i went to bar to see diamond j and the rough. great show. j (or jay) is the bassist for hot rod circuit good stuff on both accounts. i was a bit dissapointed to find that there were no cd's available. but i got to buy welntoad a drink and chat music for awhile, which is always worth the price of admission.

i guess that brings you all up to speed on my super-interesting life. (insert extreme sarcasm here)

so go forth and have a very pleasant v-day. mine will most likely be spent listening to dashboad and drinking alone in the dark. so i have that going for me, which is good.
