well, the comments have long become static, so i guess it's about time i bump myself in your bookmarks and do a bit of commenting myself.
today was hellish. the fuel pump went in my truck, so the day was spent waiting for a tow, riding with the tow truck driver, hanging out with my mechanic through the diagnostic phase, and stealing my sister's old car from my parent's house. after all this i got to work at 3 this afternoon and was unable to focus at all, nevermind accomplish anything. so that was cool.
now the stress and frustration of trying to figure out where the $600 bucks this is going to cost me will come from. i was optomistic when i was counting days and figured out that this month i'd get paid on the 16th and 30th and would have a paycheck to use purely for this and some other bills and get paid again the day before rent was due.
the issue with this math, however, is that there is no 30th. that will be the 2nd and rent will be late. awsome.
it looks like this may have a negative impact on me getting to the sgny v-day gathering which sucks. i was really looking forward to that event to try and get better aquainted with some of the incredably cool people i met at the open call. we'll see how the finances turn out, but it doesn't look promising.
well, time to hop around to some friend's journals to repay the comment favor and then off to the hospital to visit my grandfather and gain some much needed perspective.
