that sucks about the interview, im horrible at those, when they ask you questions like "what do you think you can gain from us?" i dunno you tell me, its your company, then i get the "thank you, will call you". No haha, i do work with animals, im a certified LAT. I like workin with animals, I couldn't picture doing anything else

if you have to take them out, you have to take them out, but don't think that everyone is an ignorant asshat. i think a lot of professional employers just think that if you show up to interview with piercings in then you're not really serious about getting the job. they're just from an old (and i think somewhat outdated) way of thinking. unfortunately, we're not the ones running the show and can opt to be lenient with whom we pick and choose. at least, not yet

i showed up for an interview at a shitty, and i mean SHITTY dive bar out here in atlanta wearing a button up and nice jeans and flats, and didn't get the job because the owner thought jeans were trashy. it's like damn, if standards are getting that high for dirty piece of shit dive bars, it's gotta be even worse for office jobs, yannow? it's like everything has to be PERFECT to get a job because there are so many people applying.
