Lost my keys yesterday.
Lost my ATM card today.
Ran out of gas after that.
Working early morning shifts (as in waking up at 7am most days) (!!!!)
Had laser hair removal on a large area WITHOUT numbing cream yesterday.
Some other things that are annoying.
All of this equals a massive yeeeeeeooouuuuch.

I jest. That's very funny about your mom, though.
Good book: Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. 1130 pages, but it flew by like a lesser book of 200 pages. I liked it so much, I re-read it immediately after the first read. I'll do that when a book is good enough, and the earlier chapters will make more sense -- and be even more enjoyable on a second pass -- with the revelations of the later chapters.
Interesting projects, huh? I bought an orchid which has now inspired me to get orchids tattooed on my upper right arm! haha and also, my tattoo artist has inspired me to get a row of small spiders crawling up my side...is that interesting? or even a project? hmm...
