I'm cautious, but not fearful. You have to live your life, no matter what, but in the most conscientious, mindful, knowledgeble and deliberately positive way possible.

*nod* good words.

This is the boy I sleep with every night. His name is Jack. He used to belong to Missy's sister, but she had to move away, and Roxy, my other kitty, needed a companion desperately. He also kind of matches my room, as the walls are metallic silver...

Pirates, A Scanner Darkly, Superman Returns, Cars. Good movies. See them.

Thom Yorke's 'The Eraser' is also on constant rotation.

So right NOW I am fantasizing about my arcade room. When I'm rich, one of the first things I'm going to do is establish my arcade room. Fuck frilly foofoo girlie things, I'm going to have an arcade room, indeed-ey!

Today I played Elvis pinball...

A woman after my own dream: an arcade room. Such a great goal, in my eschewed opinion.

Oh dear. Asking me about my favorite video game means I'd have to make a choice.

For silent narrative? Karateka.
-Despited limited graphical capabitlies, unintuitive gameplay, and a very primative sound chip Karateka manages to convey a simple story of a warlord kidnapping a princess and a man setting out to free her. Simple story but the somber tones that wash over the small speakers when the warlord, vulture on his shoulder, orders the woman into her cell and the slow steps she takes is stil one of my favorite video game moments ever.

For twitch shooting? Thunder Force V
-On the highest difficulty level sometimes my hands begin to cramp and muscle ticks show from the frantic and frenetic pace of this game, such a great time.

For baseball geek stat emersion? Out of the Park Baseball.
- This game lets me dive head first into a pool of numbers and projections along with a great financial model which gives my love of baseball a place to play even in winter.

Arcade? The King of Fighters 1998
A dream match up (with characters thought dead or gone from the SNK universe) this game's odd lack of balance ended up creating an even playing ground and my love of 2D fighting games shines through. Sometimes, when I am bored, I start thinking of how to execute super moves.

I love old pinball games (the ones from before the scores became hundreds of thousands on average) and Tron's Deadly Discs is such a fun game.

I sometimes think DJing would be fun but I am purely a spectator... er listener, when it comes to music. I like the sidelines.

Ugh... too many I statements.

I was all about Road Blasters when I was a kid.

Here is a typical day of my life at the moment:

7:30-ish AM: Wake up or some reasonable facsimile. Feed cats, shower, present myself for the day, wear black. (I have to wear black for both work and school, no, I'm no longer GAWTH)

8:30-ish AM: Hopefully get to work by 8:30am, brave the extensive traffic to get 7 miles from home to work. Sometimes...

I saw An Inconvenient Truth tonight. See it, no matter what your stance on Gore.

Went out last night to a friend's partay in Chinatown for his Burning Man fundraiser. This, after getting up at 7:30am to get to work, I managed to squeezed in a Pilates class before school started at 6pm. Was at school until nearly 10:15pm, and e didn't get to the...

Strange. This coundown to 32 business.

At 9:22am anyway.

This is my favorite quote about time, for the time being. tongue

Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we have lived. - From Jean-Luc Picard (allegedly)
