Well, if anyone could actually get excited about gum surgery, it would have to be me right now!

I've got this stupid genetic problem where my gum is trying to pull away from my lower bottom teeth. Fuckers are staging a mutiny and intervention is necessary. Oh, and no dental insurance will touch this issue with a ten foot pole, as they deem it a "cosmetic procedure". I'll surely "cosmetic procedure" their faces.

Basically, I'll have to get a gum graft and the first oral surgeon I consulted said that I would LOSE MY TOOTH unless I paid him $3500+ on the spot. Well, I haven't lost it yet.

So I found out about a viable method that is not going to cost me a small $$$ ransom, and I can get it done fairly promptly as well. Yay for me.

Won't you tell me about any strange procedures you've had to endure or almost endure?
