Renaissance. Definitely. Calm, collected, and dignified. Thursday is a photo shoot that I am kind of frightened about, but there has been a lot of preparation involved, so that's good. This is actually my first PRO shoot, and I feel very privileged to work with someone who's shot with the likes of Masuimi Max
No matter what you do in life, no matter how inconsequential, there will always be those that feel the need to tear you up/down in order to make themselves feel better. Can't escape that ever, no matter how honorable your intentions. I can only feel sadness, not hatred, for those people that just froth at the mouth like a rabid dog in heat, people who have nothing else going on/are obsessed so they have to utterly assassinate your character, whether IRL or online. The other thing that has always baffled me is the information that people choose to divulge, especially on places like LJ, for example. Information is power. Why not post your Social Security number too? Does the world really need to know how you hang your towels in the bathroom, for fuck's sake?
I'm saddened about recent events here, it's as if everything in this world is going through this flux right now, and nothing is immune or sacred, not even SG. Nor the people that are most important to you.
Your thoughts, emotions, and feelings are entirely your own, and I take immense pleasure in that, no one can take those away from me. Ever. Actions are a different story, and Elise's thread about trust has really gotten me thinking about it all. Maybe I've loved and trusted a little too freely at times, but I wouldn't change that for the world. No regrets, and I don't think you were a waste of time. Never.
And life goes on, and you either go with it or....not.
