Yesterday I received an invitation to a bridal shower.
For one, I don't know the girl very well. Secondly, there may be someone there that I really do NOT want to meet.
Third, I think I cannot bite my tongue in regards to marriage being an incredible mistake, especially for her and her fiance.
In conclusion, it is best if I do not attend.

Weddings are so..strange. Like my cynical side just thinks FOOLS. but the sappy Oh that IS actulaay a wonderful thing comes and pops up once in awhile and i catually wonder..maybe me? That last one i went to was my second cousins wedding. it was funny because although i somewhat distance myself from fdamily they are all pretty tight. so i didnt know many people, but went since it is after all family. and everyone was like OH HI Havent seen you since you were...(insert young age)..than go on about how they heard this and that about me since. Over all it was really cool, and i actually have started a new friendship w a couple cousins since. The only really shitty part is, My cousin, she married a mormon, UH..she is gonna convert. i really wanted to say no dont, but she is in love, so what do you do?

i only attend weddings of good friends. and i think they are always a blast. i find marriage incredible. not a mistake.
