Tired tired. Did I mention that I am exhausted?

Birthday party tomorrow for my best friend's husband and daughter, who will be 40 and 16 respectively.

I know that I am getting him the Fight Club special editiion DVD thing.

She on the other hand, well, she's a piece of work, and I mean that in the fondest way possible. wink

Direct quote from mom, "For the love of god, please make her stop playing the same stuff." Apparently, in addition to Oingo Boingo, she is now into trance and house (ugh, the worst forms of electronic music, in my professional opinion). We've got to remedy this situation quickly! Let's bring on the hardcore, and drum and bass, and nosebleeding techno!

Even better that her son, who's 13, is now into AC/DC, Ozzy, and Iron Maiden. That is ALL I hear when I come over. Too funny. Mom says, "What is happening right now is my karma for all the bad stuff I did in the 80's" Heeelarious.

So daughter is going to be getting a bunch of music, like Muse, and some classics that I feel she should know about. She might also be the proud recipient of some Wiccan related items and literature. It was either that option or venture into Hot Topic, and I'd rather not indulge in the latter.

Ok, if you were a super rad 16 year old, growing up now, what do you think you would like to receive from a cool "Auntie" like me? biggrin

I'd say she needs some of the classics...buy a handful of the good old records you loved. Maybe even on vinyl.

and a good solid glass bong.

just kidding.
