Once long ago, I made this journal, and it was called:
10 Things you may not know about Elisabeth
Well, since I can't find the OG journal, I'll try to come up with some....ok....deep breath...
1. I grew up on Melrose Ave., and have quite a few stories about celebrities I would not care to share. Most notable moment was having to ask one of my heroes, David Lynch (!), to leave the posh lingerie store I used to work in. He was very gracious about the whole thing. I'M SO SORRY, DAVID, if you are reading this! Oh, and nice hairdo
2. My resume is extensive and unbelievable. I've worked in various fields, from A to XXX (not like that, get your mind out of the gutter). Let's see, I've got a lot of management experience, I've cast and directed stuff, worked at a modeling/talent agency, and various other interesting places.
3. I'm jealous of people who can draw and and articulate their thoughts and ideas in a visible medium. I can string words together, but it's not quite the same. Oh, and in my last art class, the teacher said I'd better be a T.A., as that was the only way I'd get a passing grade. Yeah, talk about vote of confidence. What a slumcunt she was.
4, I've broken quite a few bones, and have been hospitalized because of varied respiratory ills, namely pneumonia.
5. I've never seen the movie Star Wars. Yup. However, I did see Return of the Jedi when I was 9 with a friend, and no wonder why I didn't get it.
6. It used to take me at least one hour to wake up every day. I kid you not. Oh, my poor ex bf, he tried so kindly, but I would snarl and hiss and be generally disagreeable, Does this mean I'm not a morning person?
7. I despise all condiments except the rare ketchup and salad dressings. Mayonnaise can DIE IN TEH FACE. Fuck off, Grey PooPoo, and other atrocities.
8. Hmm. I was at national levels in rhythmic gymnastics until my pesky right knee and some uber family drama made me reconfigure it. But oh how I love to twirl a ribbon.
9. I am not on speaking terms with any of my family. Haven't been since 1992. With 99% of them anyway. Perhaps if you turn on Court TV, Cops, or Jerry Springer, you might get a glimpse of them?
10. Until the age of 9, this is what I believed marriage was: The whole grand Catholic Church ceremony, everyone in attendance, lavish gown. After the groom kisses the bride, I thought that they also had to GET IT ON in front of their entire wedding! Strange kid I was for sure.
edited to add 11. One of my prized possessions is a signed VARGAS book by the master himself. He knew my parents, and signed it to the three of us in '78 or so? I keep the book hidden and well guarded.
Tell me something I do not know about you.
