Meh.
I think sleep is one of the cruelest jokes on mankind. I hate the fact that I need to sleep, that my body is not strong enough to see the full rotation of the earth to its end.
The curse of man is mortality, and sleep reminds us of this. Eight recommended hours of sleep, a third of every day, thirty of perhaps ninety years, translates into a life in which you did not live, but breathed in, with shallow lung fulls.
I also think of what I am missing.
What would you do if you didn't have to sleep?

i wish i could just go to bed & it would be next month already
knowing there's some unconscious time coming to me at the end of the day is the only thing that keeps me going.
