This morning, I had many dreams that made me question if I was awake or not.
When I woke up, my body felt queasy.
I've also learned an important fact over the past few years, and it's this: Don't seek out answers to things you really DON'T need to know or particularly WANT to know about. (And I'm speaking of my life, personally, not globally.)
To me, it's not about being blissfully ignorant. Sometimes the facts are worse than you can imagine, and you might not be sure just how you will be caught off guard, so I don't even bother with worrying about things I cannot control anymore.
There are far more important things than worrying about what so and so is doing, what "they" feel about things, their motivations for doing anything, etc. I highly dislike when people piggyback on others to make themselves look more interesting.
Now there are other ways to go about being more interesting. I've tried various hobbies, competitive sports (even though I absolutely DESPISE organized sports), and am always trying to enrich my vocabulary.
What are some of the methods you've consciously tried in order to be more interesting?

Yup I entirely agree - if you don't think you can deal with the consequences then *don't* go looking in the first place! Personally though I've got an insatiable curiosity about pretty much everything, but then again I'm also pretty much laid back about everything too. I try not to have too high expectations of people (they are just people after all) so there isn't much that really shocks me. Except deliberate ignorance maybe. Or rather the harm and the hurt that arises out of sheer stubborn ignorance...
In regards to becoming more interesting it's hobbies, hobbies & hobbies all the way. I think the key is to keep challenging yourself, whether it be physical, mental or social kinda stuff. As long as you're learning stuff and have experiences to share then it's cool...
Cool profile pic BTW. And how come you show up in a different color?
