Today is such a perfect day. Weather wise.
I think I have the opposite of typical SAD. I feel gloomy when it's over 85 degrees and ultra sunny. Right now, it's breezy and in the late 70's. In the morning, it was cold enough to be able to wear one of my coats.
Somehow I started collecting coats when I was about 20. Funny thing since there are only 2 places I've been with weather that would necessitate the kind of coats I have. There is an entire garment rack (and then some) overflowing with them. There are vintage furry ones, 70's fitted midthigh belted ones, designers that were very expensive, and a snowboarding jacket I got only because it was $10.
It was never a conscious thing to do, as with shoes, for example, but I kept seeing such wondrously unique coats that were very very very reasonable, so how could I pass up such deals?
Tell me about something that you have a lot of that you never intentionally set out to collect.

i really do just want to eat books.
not quite sure if this counts, but i really wish that i'd collected more 'Kodak moments'. all the photographs i didn't take... i've a feeling i might be regretting that some day.
p.s. i love your new pic, too, by the way
AC however, is *always* a bitch. 9/10 times its cheaper, and way easier to replace the whole compressor assembly than to try and get it repaired. Also a good think to junkyard for.
Check VW Vortex, its one of the largest VW sites on the internet, and there's a million people who know more than I do, not to mention just a cool place to hang out. The forums are really helpful for stuff like this.
