I'm in need of some answers, and no, not of the life, the universe, and everything kind. The answers I need involved cancelled appointments, future appointments that are now tentative, and just simple replies to things that affect my schedule. It's not like I don't have the time, but it's a matter of principle. Bleh.
Then again, this is humbling because it reaffirms that I have no control and am entitled to zip, zero, nada. Nothing in this world is a given, lest I forget.
I just wish that certain people wouldn't act like they are so fucking ENTITLED. Perhaps it's not about the sources, it's about the lessons I'm supposed to learn.

A good friend once said to me, "People do what they want to do", and it's proven to be one of the most astute things I've ever heard. I often think the best we can do when compelled to deal with agendas that oppose our own is to try to empathize with the obstinate person to see where they are coming from, then use that knowledge to approach them as they WANT to be dealt with.
Sorry to get all Dr. Phil on you here; I know all this is a big pain in the ass when you just want results, dammit! But this is the best way I know to get them in difficult situations. Good luck!
