Time for a recap of the weekend. It was time for me to not be a hermit, as I've been doing that a lot lately.
I was off Friday, and good thing too, as I needed to run a variety of annoyingly time-consuming errands, and also go the Marilyn Manson show at the Greek theater. He didn't disappoint, he's always been a real showman. What sucked is that Trilobyte lost his wallet, grrrr, but he was certainly a lot more calm than I would have been!!
Saturday, spacepod, trilobyte and I went to Tease-o-rama, which is the 3rd annual burlesque show. Apparently there were a lot of folk from SG there, but we only saw a couple of people. I was too into the performances to look around profusely, as these ladies were show stoppers, and that's not even including Dita! And I think I fell in love with a girl for the night....she made our jaws drop. She was very elegant in her pantsuit and hat, ponytail pulled back, a sexy brunette with a knowing sensuality, she carried herself with grace and poise, and a hint of a cat that ate the canary smile, and I just melted. There was a vague European air about her, perhaps French, there was an Audrey Tautou-esque vibe about her. However, she was either with her friend or on the mobile phone, and I was seriously going to walk up to her and tell her she was the best looking woman there....but alas, it was not to be.
I purchased my own pair of pasties, they're orange with tassels, I wanted to do a little "research", so I will let you know how my studies go
When we left the show at 1:30am-ish, of course we had to eat, so we had Tommy's, and although that was not the best choice, it gave us enough strength to go see DJ Phear spin some dirty and nasty jungle at a venue near my house. I haven't danced that hard in a very long time. If you ever get a chance to see him spin, you should go ahead and do so
PoopyDave also came down to join us with his friend Mindy who was celebrating her 21st birthday. Ah, to be 21 again! Afterward, we all met up at Fred 62, where we ate sinful desserts, and I think I went to sleep at 5:45am.

i have some pretty detailed dreams too. i seem to only dream when i'm struggling for an answer to something, and then it plays out with strong symbolism in my dreams. i've learned a lot about how to interpret them from my therapist. it's fascinating, really.

Dude! I am so jealous of your fabulous "LA-ness". hahaha........your weekend sounded incredible. I spent it nursing a cold, and obsessively playing GTA vice city. Whee me.
