Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
Well, funny story today... I was @ the garage @ Harvard Square rolling a butt in front of the NESE (New England School of English)....
Two Asian girls came walking up the ramp on the way to class when one of them noticed me sitting there. Momentarily, she was taken, & began to walk in my direction, staring @ me (much to my surprise, as I looked like a bum).
Her girlfriend who must have been in the bar overhearing the conversation from the night before about a friend of mine from an old job. She has a boyfriend, & he was a really nice guy. I like him. I'm happy for them, & she seems better off than she was. Some kids from that job thought I should pressure her to go out, cuz they were sure she had a thing for her. I was sure that if she did, she didn't know, so it wasn't gonna happen. I didn't pressure her. Now we're both happy, and don't hate each other cuz I took some moron's romantic advice.
Any whoo.... the second Asian girl grabbed the first Asian girls arm, pulling her away whispering, "Stay away from him", then said louder, "so he lets us go..."
A woman walking out of a store overheard, saying, "She has some contracts....." (Yeah, w/ Satan!!!)
Then, from behind the two Asian girls, a third run up, catching up & saying, "Hey, Big Chicken.... new American word for you...
BITCH".
LOL....
The Senate vote for the Alaskan Wildlife Refuge was 51 to 49.
The Bushocrats won, but by far fewer votes than they'd thought.
The petition got 250,000 signatures in 24 hrs... 400,000 all together, many after the vote began.
And the vote isn't finalised. There's still more that has to be done to completely pass the bill for GWs signature, and it can still be stopped. I'll keep you posted.
I have more funny stories from today, but I'll save them... I haven't even gone out for St. Patty's...
