Well, OK...It took me a little longer than I thought to update. Besides... i hate erasing the comments.. Been working on some projects, like the book. (I read some of it, or @ least short stories based on it) & it' pretty cool. Diamic (sp?) pentameter w/polyrythmic undercurrents w/ almost timed rhythmic changes. Got a job working on stage setup (mmm exercise, and art) and a a couple of gigs doing some art/alt pics involving two of the elements....right up my alley. Water and dirt make mud...mud and oil make paint! Speaking of paint... last week 2 models (one of whom was gonna do a flick w/ me) both decided that one of my pictures was them... @ least according to their litigious managers... I been dealing w/ that all week, which would have been funny if it wasn't eating into my livilihood. One of them went as far as to accuse me of "pirating" on the front page of her website. The funny part is, the picture was an metaphor about time thieving, righteous complainers, originally based on that famous pose of Farrah Fawcett I'd copied in grad e school when learning to draw, but in goth drag... You know, that coy shoulder, head turned, butt out leaning forward, come and get the spacey girl if you dare pose. Apparantly, the young lady has decided to run for the Ms. Scorpio title..I guess she forgot the fact that Scorpions spend most of their life hiding under a rock... and, like Vampires, die in the Sun. My art students love this.
