Well.

There's been lotsa hype about Autism around here lately, & I thought I'd stick my 2 cents worth in.

I can.

I have a form of Autism called Aspergers Disorder.
I process visual imagery in an unusual way. To most people, it'd be a bit like attempting to navigate through a kaliedescope. Like Dyslexia X 8. Dyslexia is a form of Autism, BTW, or...

I never thought I'd say this, but I went to court yesterday. It was fun. If I can get a dummy to pay attention, I'll keep him from going bankrupt.

If he doesn't listen, he will.

It's guaranteed.

I learned something too. Just because someone pouts & says "You assume I'm stupid" doesn't mean they aren't, even if they ARE playing the race trump.

I...

I'm really pleased to see
Reagan's new set> When I saw her last year in Boston, I was amazed w/ her routine as the schoolteacher....Disciplinin'...

Last night, I did a tarot reading for my friends John & John...

Then we summoned the spirits. This is what they said:

"Hillary attracts mice.

You will go to the Boston Aquarium to the Shark Tank. It is a go go bar.

You will meet a cleptomaniac.

You will meet Professor Charles Xavier.

You will let him play his favourite song, "My Winona".

Magneto...

I adore all the things that you've been up to. Since I'll be at a concert i'm wishing all my bosom buddies an early day of love. So light your candleabras, warm your blood, and thrive in any warmth of the freezing night. Oh and have a "bright sunshiny day" if you're into that thing. Just head off to the woods ok? wink

Speaking of dreams, I dreamt that I was in a voting booth in an Ancient Greek Temple.... & a space ship flew by, but didn't stop. I was w/ a friend of Archie Bunker's. Or was I Archie Bunkers friend? I forget> I was a bit drunk. I was surrounded by lots of dumstruck foreigners, & a drunken cowboy who wanted to just shoot Aliens,...

Archie Bunker, cowboys and aliens.....I think you may have been dreaming about Montana! This place is weird that way. So you're working with NON avian dinos. Lizards and turtles are great. I worked on a cretaceous turtle a few months ago. I don't know if they were able to Identify the species, though. So does this mean you have to find a new place to live?

St. Valentine was beheaded for performing marriages behind The Emperor's back, I hear.....

It's raining today in Boston. Cold Clammy rain.

My head is full of many thoughts, & my heart hurts. I do not even know why, but there are a thousand reasons for it.

I am a dangerous man. A riddle wrapped in an enigma of absolute simplicity.

Confoundingly obvious. A problem so...

What IS it about February that has just about everybody on edge? I think I'm just going to pretend it's some other month. So, what Avian Dinosaurs do you work with? Where? I'd like to see Boston some day. I guess we lived there breifly when I was very young. I dont remember it. My thoughts are a little random today....I'm supposed to be working on a research paper, yet I'm goofing off here. I'd better go. bok

Curses! The Stench of Spring Flowers filling the air, the dust of memory blown away by fresh warm breezes.... The ashes from my cigarettes gone from the floor as birds sing & crickets creak...
Sunshine blazing in through the filthy windows, as my thread bare drapes sprinkle dandruff from the wind....

I lift myself, the cobwebs spread off me, popping, rending, falling on the floor....

Well Weirdness of the General Kind.

I spent Sunday drawing all day. I met a friend while getting beer fro the Superbowl, as I decided to watch it just for the hell of it, which, normally, I wouldn't do.

So I'd had some strange conversations.

Consider this.

A friend I know was once accreditted for hatching a scheme that prevented WW III. I t made...

I'm sitting here listening to local artists playing Haitian music.
I like the little violin bit.

The chorus is kinda cool. Very traditional, in the commercial sense of the word.

I too wouldn't exaclty know how to explain my spiritual beleifs. I've gone to the temple with my mother often and I very much appreciate the Buddhist prespective but I am not quite a Buddhist. Spirituality, like life, seems to be everchanging, yet always constant. I have admitted to worshiping the "Great Lizard Gods" on occasion. I think it's a perfect thing for a goblin to beleive in. biggrin

Last September I found a Trilobite. My roomate, who is really into steep hiking was all worried because I was looking at rocks and not where he was going. He thought I'd go right over a cliff or something. I gave him the Trilobite and said "See what you've been missing?"

It appears Goblinboots & I are beginning an interesting dialogue.

Consider this, my new found friend. (In answer to your question... ) The Bhuddhists might tell you that every act or decision is the "stepping stone" into the next.

It's a bit like graphing, if you've ever done that, or worked in 3D graphics. Each line is an act, each act is the image of...

Great analogies. Actually, my mother is a pretty devout Buddhist. She and I have an ongoing discussion quite similar to the one you and I have developed. It sort of takes on a life of it's own. There's a strange duallity in the idea of a being continuing to be what it was (or is) and changing into something else as well. It's almost hypnotic to contemplate. Thinking about deep time is the same way. Can you tell that I'm trying to get someone to toss me into a bin of bones? skull
