First time I heard of SG

The first time I ever heard about SuicideGirls was Boston when one of my friends said she wanted to do a surprise nudie shoot for her bf... “ kinda like the SuicideGirls style” she said. I wish I knew back then what I know now!!

Oh, yes.  In 2004 I purchased an Esquire magazine while waiting for a plane in Washington National (now Reagan). There was an article about alternative beauty that focused on SG, it was all new to me, but I loved what I saw. As soon as I got home I went to my pc and subscribed (may have said hello to my wife on the way). 😁

I LOVE especially in THESE times that SG is able to uphold healthy sexuality and empower women to BE sexy and strong. I'm SO very humbled to be able to photograph those moments.

I don't know if I've mentioned it here, maybe I did... I don't remember. For the past year I've been getting very serious about my Seminary journey.

But as I have, I have been dealing with this internal struggle. Will I REALLY be able to pastor a church AND shoot boudoir photography? Or am I headed towards a schism where I'll have to choose sides....

@pisces  your English is perfect! Thank you so much for saying so. I wholeheartedly agree about the church becoming a toxic and icky place. I think that's the real point of my dilemma. I want to pastor... Someday. But I don't want to be a part of the toxic sludge. I want to find a place where you can be loved for being you. It's the same as my photography! I love boudoir because it's an opportunity to reflect someone's inner beauty! Her sensuality and grace! God GAVE us that energy. To me, it's not shameful to celebrate it. It's more shameful to hide who you are.
