Yeah I get that too, when I think everyone's looking at me and judging me - watching what I do. Its fucking nerve racking. I wish I could give you some more insight, but when Im feeling it, theres not much that stops it either.
I was on Cipralex and only for about a year. The good thing about it was that it didnt change anything else in my life besides my anxiety. Except that I was high as a fucking kite for the first 3 days or so. Haha. It sort of sucks to have to say I turned to meds but Im really glad I did - and like I said, I havent had to go back on them in years.
Anxiety is so stressful because its hard to tell whether the feeling is justified or just anxiety.Its a viscous cycle. How long has it been happening??
Good that your talking to a doc about it though, I waited a long time to admit I needed to and probably could have avoided a lot of stress had I done so sooner.

There was a period (I got $10.000 inheritance) where I quit my job and basically didnt leave the house for almost a year. Spent all my money and pretty much wallowed in the anxiety. Started the meds soon after that. But afterwards, it was SOOOOO hard to drag my ass out of the house.
Sleep is good though, you cant be anxious when your asleep!
