Believe me, it would be easy for me to just give into my Irish genes and push all this shit deeper and find horrible outlets for things, than to work on it in a positive manner. We've seen how that's worked out so far.

In these types of cases I'd agree with your point of wishing to be born in a different era, as these problems may not exist (like cancer wasn't nearly as prevalent, because by now both of us might be dead if born during a certain time in history), but this stuff is way more prevalent then people would like to let on.

Some look at it as a weakness. You need to look at dealing with this as a strength. It's like the wrestling slogan "pain is a weakness leaving the body", being able to open up and go after this shit guns a blazin is doing that same shit. It makes you stronger.

The only "smoking" that would have been done that weekend would have been a "Smokin' Joe Frazier" left hook to some asshole fans at the Final Five...which was still awesome even though every team we rooted for lost.

If my anxiety was going to peak it would have been BEFORE I ate 3 chicken's feet. *shudders*

This is my subconscious running because of my Mom's death, and maybe I'm more susceptible because I'm run down and under the weather anyway, but I'd rather see my best friends and deal with my life than not.

Shouldn't have been two days of it, the "stress" would have been over. We will see what tonight brings. I feel fine now, but this stuff builds for hours upon hours it seems.

I do need this type of stuff in a way too, to get a move on with my life, negative to a positive.

I think Jen is coming in anyway and we are just going to play it by ear. It's not "social", just physical.
