ahhh ... see ... we differ there. I have a friend who gets really pissed off if I sing the wrong lyrics to a song. So, I make sure that with songs that I know all the lyrics correctly, when I'm around her I always radically alter the lyrics to suit me.

We both know I know the lyrics and I'm only doing it to stir, so she tends to play along with it.

When you get people who clearly have the lyrics wrong and think they are right, I always have this major desire to go and correct them. It's like using bad grammar.
