Sorry to worry you guys. I go through times where I mourn my father's death from time to time. I always miss him, of course. But its not often I let myself FEEL the loss.
Anyway.. I was blessed with my niece bringing over lice. Yay!! She got it from my brother's (not her dad, my other brother) girlfriend's kids, who've had it for 5 years now. Hell, her kids got kicked out of daycare because they couldn't get rid of it. 4 kids live there now and they constantly are passing it to everyone. The problem is they do a half assed job of getting rid of it. Oh, and they are chronically using pesticides on the kids.. which is dangerous. Oh, and its being shown that lice are becoming more resistant to pesticides. Best method? Manual removal.. continued for more than a week. Yeah. That sucks ass. Is the babysitting money worth it? Well, probably.. but it STILL SUCKS!

Mmmm........lice. I'm good now, even though remembering your dad made me think of mine, I'm okay now. It just hits me hard sometimes. Really hard. Why not just shave the kids heads?
