my campaign slogan for obama was 'we got next', but nobody got it. tell me you get it. anyhow, i felt something, pride maybe, when i voted for barack because he will be the first 'minority' president of the usa. i'm getting goose bumps just typing it. it's about time we had somebody in the white house other than a rich, white man. i know obama is a rich man, but i believe it is a step in the right direction. mccain really shot himself in the foot when he chose that silly woman as a running mate.

Good for you... on both counts! Taking a deep breath is definitely preferable to acting on one's temper. Sometimes I forget that, too.
My son is going to donate his long hair to LOL! I did it once before. It felt great, even though I hate my hair when it's short. But now my son has super long red hair... and he's ready to donate, as soon as his Mama gets him to the salon!
My day was okay. It felt good to get a couple of garden chores done. But I was really lost in the ether most of the day. Tonight I'm going to have a bubble bath and watch Juno again, while drinking red wine. Hubby is away for the night visiting his mama and sister, so I'm taking some time for me... late though it may be!
