So, I was bored and all of you were too cool to hang out with me. I see how it is.

So, I sat here bored out of my mind until my friend Will called me back. Will is a customer of mine and for some reason, even though he acted like an absolute moron the first 14 times he came to the bank, we actually started to talk him out of his idiocy. Now, he came off as a drunken frat boy to me; straight out of MSU with nothing deep to him at all. But alas, a few weeks ago as I was struggling with the new system to order him a debit card, we had a long talk about just life in general and Will was upgraded from frat boy to semi-decent frat boy. I don't mind semi-decent frat boys to party with; they buy the drinks cause mommy and daddy give them money. So after his 4 months of harrassing me, Sunday he tried to coerce me to go to the beach with him (I had plans with someone else) and gave me his number.
So last night I called Will. And we lasted 3 drinks at the bar before we walked down to the mill pond and drew on the sidewalk. We had this really deep conversation. He astonished me with how smart he is. All this time I thought I might be being friends with an asshole; but really he was quite cool.

Just a moment I thought I'd share. It's always cool when you find out someone is a lot deeper than they seem.
