Yesterday was my 31st birthday.
I supposed it's normally the round-number birthday's that get people thinking (30, 40, etc) but for my 31 has more to it. Because now, I'm officially IN my thirties.
I'm pretty stoked as to where my life has ended up. Professionally, I feel like I'm doing well. I have a store that's holding it's own, I'm making more than I have ever before, I have two books coming out this year and there are still a bunch of things that I want to do that not only seem achievable but almost feel inevitable.
For the first time in my life I'm looking back on things and I'm content. So that's awesome and all that, but I'm not really the type of person to rest on his laurels. (an aside, what the hell is a "laurel?") So what's next?
What's next, indeed.
