We go out for girls' night every Thursday, and I like to go out with the girls, because they're fun. But I have never been one for meeting people anywhere. I completely agree with the thick cigarette smoke and all that. I am sick of coming home smelling like cigarettes. I would also be perfectly happy to drink at someone's house, but I guess my friends are the type who need to turn 21 and then spend all their time going out because of it. Maybe it will pass. They also seem to think that because they can now go to bars, going to coffee shops in beneath them. Which I still can't find the logic behind. I'm going to start rambling here, and I already did that, so I'll stop now.

Heh. I'm a mood-swinger, for sure. Not as much fun as being a sexual-swinger, but inescapable, for me. I've been on meds and stuff before, too.
But to be honest, this bad mood is coming out of some very concrete recent events, rather than purely existential malaise, as itburns called it. I do think the whole icky time of year thing is getting to me, too, though. I haven't gotten as much art done as I wanted to, and now it feels like I won't, but there is definitely some stuff I need to get done, and soon. I've started a writing partnership with Olsen, so I have to get some stuff done by Sunday when we get together to read and discuss. That ought to be very helpful for me.
But I'm still just not sure I'm happy. But it kinda sounds like no one is, so at least my misery has company.

Too much going on in my life right now to follow the fine print in the sports pages. Much easier once I can see big color photos and watch games on TVs and at the field. I'm planning a big trip to NYC in June for the CUBS-YANKEES series. My friend here is head of security at Wrigley, so me, my boy, and him, and goin to hang with the players and see all the games that week. I'm totaly psyched.....
