What I hate is coming home at the end of the night, alone.
I'm not talking about getting laid, making out, or even feeling lonely, but when I have to come back to the apartment after having fun, I want someone to share it with. 'Cause that's good. It means even if I fall asleep, me and the other will still be in that buzz of joy, whatever may have caused it.

sometimes coming home to an empty house is better than coming home to someone who resents your joy. there's a beauty in revelling in your own joy, even if it only belongs to you.
