I suddenly remembered the last few months with Murr when I had to inject him with fluids every other day. It's weird, but putting a needle in someone really isn't that hard to do (ask a doctor...or a heroin addict).
He was a really good cat. Ridiculously patient with us. We had to inject him through his hip, too, pet him for five minutes until all the the fluids went in, and he'd walk around with a little bulge on his side for a while.
The weirdest thing was if you went too close to the skin and had the needle come out the other side, and it freaked me out the time I did it, but it didn't bother him, and the vets say it happens some times.
Hmm. I miss cats. I can't wait to get one in the summer.
I'm also going home for the weekend! I'll get to see my sister, finally, and sing at my great aunt's 75th birthday, and eat good food, and, and...

Hating and despising in general. I guess I should have cleared that up. Pornpocalypse was a different subject. People were posting springy and lovely things in my journal, and I was starting to find it gross.
