in other news:

i've decided to take back the control i used to have over smoking. over the last few years my pastime became a habit... one which over the last few months blossomed into a burden. i'd been thinking about quitting for months, but it was never a good time. i finally faced the fact that there never really is a good time, and so today marks the third day of my strange new smokeless life. instead of having a smoke while reading a book, i just read the book. instead of going outside to have a smoke while checking my email on the laptop, i'm sitting inside at my kitchen table.

yeah, so far it's pretty boring.

...and what with how i'll be logging at least three hours of overtime every day this week (nine so far in just two days), it looks like i picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue...
