it's a b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l day.
1) spring officially begins in one week, but it seems to have arrived a few days early here.
2) spring may be part of the reason that certain people are writing certain journal posts that leave me weak in the knees. oh, to live in Kincairdine...
3) TEAC/Tascam fucking rules: i called them four days ago in search of two tiny little parts for my 25+ year-old mixing console. yesterday morning Mr. UPS man showed up with a little box, containing the exact parts i needed, plus a diagram of exactly how to wire them into the console!
4) i fucking rule: i totally took my meter bridge apart, soldered in the tiny new parts, and put it all back together - without discovering or causing three other serious problems in the process!
5) i binged last week and read Memoirs of a Geisha in three days. now i dream of cherry blossoms and i want a Japanese bathtub.
6) i'm meeting up with Sam next friday, for what will hopefully be the final talks/sketches for my new tattoos.
...and i finally posted some new pictures, too.
