there's something about the rain today that isn't all that nice. something about it that leaves me listless and cold instead of thoughtful and happy... it's hard to make up my mind on a day like today, and maybe that's why it's after 2pm and i'm still in my pajamas. i can't decide whether i want to go back to sleep or really get up and make something of what's left of this afternoon.

ordinarily, i'm all about the rain. i do my best creative work when it's pouring outside - but this isn't the type of rain that i really like. no, this is more like the typical bay-area constant-heavy-drizzle variety - and that's not very much fun. instead of big, fat droplets, you get this almost-invisible wall of mist... and you end up just as wet, but you're not entirely sure how you got that way.

so i'm staying inside until i absolutely have to go to work tonight. i had some errands to take care of, but i think that i'll do them tomorrow.

so there you have it - a rarity in my world: posting just to post. no real point to anything that i've said.
