today is my first day off in almost two weeks, and even though i have a ton of things to do here at the house, it's so incredibly relaxing to not have to work.
i have a lot on my mind - foremost is the song that i'm trying to finish tonight. it's not coming along very well, and i think i know why: i'm afraid to finish this one. 3 possible reasons:
1) because it won't be good enough.
2) because it'll be too good.
3) because then i'll have to live with it.
all of them apply...
no matter - it's time to lay this one to rest.
