housecleaning puts me in a really good mood.
i've been spending the day cleaning up around here: sweeping, vacuuming, washing and mending... and putting the final touches on rearrangements made weeks ago. posters are coming up and going down. calender pages torn off to the right months. crosses through days. x's through items on lists in my head.
if i finish with enough time left, i'll spend the evening recording new songs. if it's past the point where i know i'll be annoying my keener nextdoor neighbor...well, i'll probably play my songs anyway.
for now, though, i can't think of a better way to enjoy this sunny monday.
