A: Because Oklahoma sucks!

Buuut, seriously. I used to live in north texas, and we'd sometimes take all-night roadtrips to the Davis Mountains and watch the sunrise. Contrary to what you might expect, it's not all prairie - there's some very nice nature.

Tulsa has some punks & indie kids, and some swing dancing aficionados. I don't really know much else about entertainment in OK.

It's not exciting, but it's not so bad. Take a camera...plenty of good photographic subject matter.

oklahoma does suck...if you wanna drive to oklahoma cirt..you could go to the green door they always have good shows going on.. tulsa i dont go to much so i'm really no help..althought the fyr shop might be kinda cool if it's still open.
