i am currently under construction

due to the fact that i have come to realize
that i am in need of change

my life right now is great on paper
but why not in life?

time to make some changes...
possibly drastic, such as a job change, not career change, just job change.

i remember feeling this way in 1987,
working at CHESS KING....
yes,...

Pension Accountant. Does it get more boring?

Chess King? *giggle* I would have thought you were pretty cool in 1987....oh, but I think you're pretty cool now.

i've realized after watching hours upon hours of Futurama....that I am a strange combination of Fry, Leela and Bender.

astrogirl3000:
i wear a tie to work almost every day. it rocks.

when it gets warm outside, i like to wear dresses and no shoes. i have to wash my feet at night in the summer because most of the time, i'm shoeless.

bender is the best...

Feeling a bit bleary eyed today.

Looking forward to:

going back to the barter system
the time when milla jovovitch DOES give me the time of day
long restful nap in a pine box

whew...not exactly where I meant to go when I began writing this.

Were there any errors on those CDs?

My main burner is really messing things up. Just tell me if there were and I'll redo them.

Thanks.

yeah, things are cool.

lotsa things.
i am a consumer whore.
(not to be confused with a label whore.)

If it didn't make me feel guilty I would yell,
"I want, I want, I want....."

but there isn't enough paper in the world to hold my list of wants, both material and ephemeral.

snowed in, but zoned out.

you know its bad when
even your Sim just sits
and cries all day.

it seems my virtual
life is about as good
as my real one.

does it ever stop seeming so meaningless?
krista:
Well, there was this time, like 10 years ago or so..that I watched Dobie Gillis every day. Now my secret is out.

People always look at me like I'm crazy.

Now...I'm not sure I'm the marryin' kind at this point. How about we shack up and live in sin? I'm quite good at sinning.
estrada:
We only get as much meaning out of life as we're willing to risk.

Every time things end up wrong, we lose a little more of ourselves.

My Sim was a workaholic and had no friends, eventually he just stopped.

women are fascinating, unbelievable, and aestetically a wonder.
so, for all different reasons and in all different ways, they rock my world:

franka

liz

helena

lacey

maria

milla

parker

sherylin

just the short list....

who rocks your world....that you will never in a million years get to meet?

why are we (as a population) so obsessed with "famous" people?
Atheletes, actors, musicians, artists, murderers, poloticians....
what about the teachers, police, plumbers, mechanics, your everyday joes.....???

well i think we as SG members should all partake in this

That way we can all be immortalized forever!
Whose with me?

I really liked "Last Night". I had some trouble getting into "Someday My Blues Will Cover the Earth", but after I listened to Defever's "I Want You to Live for a 1,000(?) Years", I grew to enjoy "Someday".

I'm still miffed that 4AD dropped HNIA just before the release of "Last Night".

I was rummaging around my music box and remembered that Jennifer Charles, aka Elysian Fields, is really good. Nice torch song voice. There is a Greek death metal band called The Elysian Fields and I accidently picked that up when I ordered from a small record shop. It isn't horrible, just not my normal style.

Velour 100 is a good group, Trey Many has done a wonderful job with them. I also like Starflyer 59, Stereo Crush, Pedro the Lion, Paramore, and Klaatu.

The last one is kind of 70's concept rock, but I enjoy it immensly.
